Job Description

Purpose

Identify opportunities to reduce operating costs, cycle time, and increase efficiency while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Lead projects to achieve these savings while ensuring that all team members feel valued and included. Improve the capability of the organization by assisting with training and mentoring personnel on Business Excellence tools, with a focus on promoting diversity and inclusion. Provide mentoring and leadership to Sponsors and kaizen candidates from diverse backgrounds. Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including those from underrepresented communities. Manage a small project or assignment, or a component of a larger project, while promoting diversity and inclusion throughout the project lifecycle. Responsible for all aspects of project coordination, communication, and execution, ensuring that all team members feel valued and included. Sets and manages expectations with stakeholders, including those from underrepresented communities. Develop project plans to achieve successful project delivery within budget, scope, and schedule, while promoting diversity and inclusion. Clearly execute the functional responsibilities for a project providing oversight and guidance to achieve the project deliverables, while ensuring that all team members feel valued and included.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates analysis of opportunities and risks, and identifies impacts and recommendations to the business or manufacturing site

  • Demonstrates leadership in setting and aligning project direction whie managing stakeholder relationships and expectations

  • Ability to effectively execute (Logistics Software Systems) LSS project management process, tools and templates

  • Identify and execute continuous improvement efforts to meet service, quality and cost objectives

  • Support and motivate teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects

  • Provide training and coaching to sponsors and Kaizen leaders, if needed

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years business experience, minimum of 1-year LSS experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred disciplines: Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Business Management

  • Accredited LSS Green Belt or Kaizen Leader Certification required; PMP preferred

  • Financial acumen and ability to assess project return on investment

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong problem solving, analytical and conflict resolution skills

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​
