Peritoneal Dialysis Clinical Specialist Territory: Ohio and West Virginia (Home Office + Travel) Your Role At Baxter: As a Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) Clinical Specialist, you take pride in representing Baxter and our Renal Care products (soon to be Vantive). This role will focus on our Ohio & West Virginia territory in the U.S. As our primary connection to the healthcare professionals who rely on our products to save and sustain lives, you are the face and voice of our solutions. You enjoy seeing the connections between teams and how they work together to drive business results. The insights and feedback you share with your team and to cross-functional partners help validate and inform priorities and changes. Our Renal portfolio includes innovative technologies and therapies for peritoneal dialysis (PD), and in-center and home hemodialysis (HD) and additional dialysis services. As a PD Clinical Specialist you are accountable for maintaining and growing our peritoneal dialysis market share by providing clinical expertise & education; building relationships, problem solving, and delivering the our overall Baxter value proposition. The Renal portfolio includes innovative technologies and therapies for peritoneal dialysis (PD), in-center and home hemodialysis (HD), continuous renal replacement therapy (Acute), multi-organ extracorporeal support therapy and additional dialysis services. Responsibilities: Maintain and grow our current Peritoneal Dialysis Business Build and maintain long term relationships with key customers in order to develop sales opportunities Identify and educate relevant clinical stakeholders Communicate with customers the benefits and features of our products Focus on PD therapy providing clinical expertise, educational development, product line utilization and sales related support Maintain service levels for customers - Educate on Strategic Business Initiatives Implement strategic plan as developed by the Team Reduce PD Patient Dropout & Hospitalizations Optimize Prescription Management Provide and Support Nurse Training Coordinate and collaborate key activities with the teammates to ensure continuity of strategy and prioritization Consistently search for and coordinate all growth &therapy expansion opportunities with teammates (considering all two therapies PD & HD) Understand the business, industry and marketplace, including our competition to achieve business goals
