Nurse Clinician (RN), Trauma Center UC Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the trauma center for the first shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The Nurse Clinician will use advanced clinical nursing skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for trauma patients. While not providing direct patient care, they will spend most of their time coordinating and educating patients and families on care and discharge. Facilitates patient flow and patient education. They serve as a constant for the patient that drives their care forward. • UC Medical Center is the only American College of Surgeons (ACS) verified adult Level I trauma center in the region.

• UC Medical Center is also the only American Burn Association verified adult burn center in a 100-mile radius.

Position Details:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days/week
• Minimal weekends and holidays required
• Work closely with UC Health Trauma Surgeons, Advanced Practice Practitioners, and residents on the Trauma service
