Job Overview: This position is responsible for the overall operations of Supply Chain services within the assigned facility and/or ambulatory environments, this includes, but is not limited to: General Nursing Floors, Emergency Departments, Maternity Services, Cardiac Cath Labs and Surgical Services. This position prepares and adheres to operating budgets, submits for capital equipment purchases, plans facility changes, evaluates services, measures performance and outputs, and develops staffing plans for all areas of responsibility. This role is accountable for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and overseeing the activities and personnel of the receiving, inventory, logistics, reverse logistics, recall management, and distribution functions to include receipt, storage, disposal and distribution of clinical/non-clinical goods. Ensure that necessary supplies are available at the facility when and where they are needed. Responsible for maintaining and reporting accurate inventories and training of team members on all materials systems and technologies. Develops and implements strategies, policies, and procedures to improve overall efficiencies of workflows and processes while upholding system policies and procedures for Supply Chain, Value Analysis, Purchasing, and Distribution in support of all departments.
