Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities Coordinate repairs for building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen equipment. Service and maintain mechanical and electrical devices, pumps, valves, and controls. Operate, maintain, and repair tools for carpentry, plumbing, and general maintenance. Perform routine maintenance tasks like filter changes, light bulb replacements, and equipment inspections. Conduct grounds maintenance including weeding, trash collection, and snow removal. Drive company vehicles for equipment pickups and maintain supplies. Ensure proper servicing and cleanliness of vehicles and equipment. Manage invoices, reports, and handle building finish repairs. Evaluate maintenance operations for improvements and cost-saving opportunities. Possess knowledge of facility and ground maintenance tools and equipment. Respond promptly to emergencies and customer service requests. Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety and maintenance issues.
