Schedule: 1st shift rotational Salary: $58,000 - $70,000/yr. Qualifications: We are seeking a candidate with an Engineering degree, ideally in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. Must have two years of related experience. The position involves overseeing a team of 5-10 employees, with a balanced focus on both supervisory responsibilities and hands-on projects, such as vinyl yield optimization and problem-solving. We aim for a 50/50 split between supervisory duties and project work, unlike traditional roles that heavily lean toward supervision. The ideal candidate should be adept at managing both people and technical projects effectively. Responsibilities: Schedule and adjust production workload based on priorities. Operate machines, check paperwork, and monitor quality and performance. Inspect finished products and ensure they meet design specifications. Enforce safety regulations and conduct lab tests on materials. Lead daily meetings, manage attendance records, and update production status. Collaborate with the planning team to resolve inventory discrepancies and implement improvements. Oversee performance management, including hiring, training, and motivating employees to achieve metrics.
