POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the Human Resource Site Manager is a strategic and operational leader providing leadership and functional expertise to develop and execute human resource strategies for the Cremer North America Cincinnati site and sister company Cremer Erzkontor North America. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education, Credentials, Licenses: B.A. or B.S. in Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education. SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred Kind & Length of Experience: This position supervises and leads a team of human resource professionals and requires a minimum of 3 years' experience managing 2-3 exempt direct reports 7+ years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues, aligning business and people strategy in a lead human resource professional position in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation and benefit practices, organizational design, employee relations, investigations, talent and performance management, recognition and rewards, government compliance and reporting, and employment laws. Must be able to work at all levels strategic, operational, and tactical, influence effectively across all levels of a company, and navigate through ambiguity, recognizing when it is appropriate to introduce more structure, process, procedure, programs, and/or systems Proven ability to successfully manage, lead, and coach direct reports Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS Partner with VP of HR to develop strategic HR plans to achieve company goals and objectives Analyze the effectiveness of the plants and corporate HR operations and policies to ensure all programs and initiatives are integrated and effective in supporting the overall vision, mission, values, and goals of the Company Review and make recommendations for improvements in company policies, procedures, strategies and practices on personnel matters. Identify, track, and evaluate key performance indicators for the plants and corporate human resource functions Manage, lead, and develop an efficient and competent HR team who serve as valuable partners to the management of the plants and organization Collaborate with the HR Business Partners and site Managers to manage the employee retention programs, analyze turnover, performance management, employee training & development, high performing teams development, and recommend initiatives and strategies for improvement Collaborate with other Cremer human resource managers to improve practices, processes, and policy building a world class HR Team Manage, communicate, and audit changes in personnel polic
