FIS Global Fraud Prevention DB (SQL & Power BI) Analyst in Cincinnati, Ohio

About the team: The Financial Fraud Investigation, Operations and Intelligence Team conducts analysis and investigations of trending and complex fraud matters. These matters can be initiated via alerts, internal and external requests, and by intelligence. The Team is part of the Legal, Compliance and Sanctions organization supporting all of World Pay. What you will be doing: * Conducts research to identify possible threats and minimize exposure to financial loss by developing alerts and mitigation steps via manipulation of structured data. * Implements new processes to become more proactive and effective in fraud risk appreciation and treatment. * Prepares reports of fraud mitigative progress (metric) and results including information on trends and risk factors. * Oversees the development of user interfaces and other company-wide efforts designed to prevent, detect, identify and resolve fraudulent activity by customers, potential customers and outside agents. * Assists management with development and implementation of fraud mitigative strategies and plans to minimize financial risk and provide maximum protection to organizational assets. * Collaborates with internal groups to obtain their output and synthesize all into a comprehensive metric report via data representation software. * Applies specialized professional knowledge and techniques gained through study to develop appropriate solutions to analytical, operational, process or technological problems. * Fact-gathering liaison with other WP functions to develop enterprise-wide data, case management and data presentation solutions. * Other related duties assigned as needed.
