GENERAL FUNCTION:

Responsible for the day-to-day operational management, coordination, and support for a variety of Benefit programs.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating the Bank’s Health and Financial Wellness programs. This includes participation in the development of the Bank’s wellness strategy.

  • Identify strategies to create a culture of Wellness for employees and managers.

  • Manage day to day administration of the Wellness programs, such as on-site biometric screenings, blood drives, mobile mammograms, benefit fairs, annual flu shots and employee on-site meetings and/or webinars.

  • Recruit, train and support 250 Wellness Champions annually.

  • Manage third-party vendor relationships.

  • Complete surveys for benchmarking, awards and analysis purposes.

  • Participate in RFP process when bringing in new vendors.

  • Support other Health & Welfare benefit programs (e.g., medical, dental, vision, etc.) by participating in annual open enrollment planning, assisting with responses to employee questions, processing vendor invoices, reporting and other administrative duties.

  • Maintain and recommend improvements to processes, procedures and documentation to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of program administration.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • 1-3 years professional work experience preferred.

  • Proficient in the use of Windows based environment, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple large projects and requests of a complex nature required.

  • Must be comfortable with public speaking.

  • Ability to organize and troubleshoot efficiently and effectively.

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact well with all organizational levels.

  • Demonstrated conflict resolution, influence and negotiations skills.

  • Maintains a professional presence in highly escalated or adverse situations.

  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality including the handling of highly confidential information.
