Your Opportunity The IT Compliance department is looking for a Data Privacy Analyst to support the organizations adherence to applicable privacy laws and regulations. In this role, the individual will work closely with Data Privacy Sr Manager to monitor and maintain privacy controls and procedures, and assist in privacy impact assessments. A successful candidate will have experience working on privacy, compliance, or risk management issues in a fast-paced organization as well as strong interpersonal and project management skills. Core Responsibilities Monitor and assess the organization's compliance with data privacy laws, regulations, and standards such as CCPA, VCDPA, HIPAA, etc. Maintain records of data processing activities and ensure they are up to date. Assist with privacy impact assessments Participate in privacy audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies. Support the development of privacy and compliance related policies and procedures, participate in review and enforcement of policies. Support business education and training efforts related to Privacy and Compliance. Assist with the fulfillment of data subject and consumer rights requests (access, deletion, do not sell, etc.) for applicable regulations including CCPA. Assist in the implementation of technology to support the privacy program including data mapping and asset inventories. Perform other duties as assigned/required by Senior Data Privacy Manager. Bachelor's degree from an accreditedfour-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Business, Data Science or related field and 2+ years relevant experience indata privacy, data protection or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Understanding of data privacy principles and solid understanding of key industry leading regulations such as CCPA, VCDPA, CPA, etc. Exposure to privacy policies, compliance regulations, privacy or technology law, policy, and programs. Experience in privacy controls testing, developing records of processing activities, and issue management and remediation frameworks. Ability to define data privacy standards and data handling procedures that integrate with key business processes. Familiarity with data governance and data protection frameworks. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong organization and project management skills, ability to work on multiple projects, ability to develop continuous improvement mindset. Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
