Job Opportunity: Controller in Cincinnati, Ohio
We’re excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for a Controller to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This pivotal role involves managing critical financial operations, collaborating with key stakeholders across the business, and acting as a liaison with external partners such as our bank and CPA firm. As a Controller, you’ll contribute directly to the organization’s success by overseeing accounting processes, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including accounts receivable and payable.
Support the monthly financial close process to ensure accurate and efficient reporting.
Partner with the sales team to create financial forecast models and track progress toward company objectives.
Collaborate with banks on matters related to loans and investments.
Ensure compliance with accepted accounting principles for all business transactions.
Analyze and present expense variances to management to support data-driven decisions.
Assist with the annual audit process, including preparing financial statements and supporting notes.
Leverage accounting software systems to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Supervise HR administration and oversee payroll processes.
Work closely with the executive team, including the owner, sales managers, and production manager, to support strategic planning and key operational decisions.
Utilize expertise in financial planning and analysis to drive business growth and success.

Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role is mandatory
• Must have experience with Accounting Software Systems
• Expertise in ADP - Financial Services is a necessity
• Must be able to handle all Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
• Must have experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Auditing is required
• Must have knowledge of Budget Processes
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration is a must
• Should be able to handle Month End Close
• Expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is essential
