REPORTS TO: Director of Operations for Greater Cincinnati
SUPERVISES: None
STATUS: Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE: Full Time
FUNCTION: The Contract Compliance Manager will be responsible to understand and enforce compliance and provide direct oversight to a portfolio of programs receiving federal, state, and/or city funding, ensuring that all contract programs in Greater Cincinnati Area Services are compliant with Salvation Army policies. The Contract Compliance Manager has responsibility for strengthening, supporting, and reviewing these entities to ensure that they are following current Salvation Army policy and procedures. Help with conducting site monitoring visits to determine impact, and conformance with contract terms, program rules, regulations and guidelines and provide technical assistance as needed. The Contract Compliance Manager is responsible to ensure that funder requirements, including reporting and documentation are consistently met and on time. This job description is not all inclusive. Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
5 + years professional experience in related field
Non-profit work experience involving contracts preferred
Excellent proofreading skills
Must possess an understanding of and appreciation the mission of The Salvation Army and the willingness to uphold it.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
Must maintain a calm spirit even during stressful times
High standard of integrity, credibility and customer service
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and judgement at all times
Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local guidelines relating to grants
Proficient use of Microsoft Office
