Certified Surgical Technologist, Night Shift, Surgery Department

UC Health is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist for the surgery department for the night shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. We’re offering a $25,000 sign-on bonus! 

The Surgery Department Surgical Technologist will support the University of Cincinnati Medical Center’s operating room (OR) and Greater Cincinnati’s only Level I Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs. The major focus is on the scrub role but may also include an assistant circulator role under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

  • The certified surgical technologist needs to demonstrate knowledge and expertise in a variety of surgical specialties and the initiative to continually expand and refine clinical skills. It is also someone who identifies and responds appropriately to different needs resulting from, unique psychological needs or those associated with religious / cultural norms. Performs treatments, administers medication, or operates equipment safely.
