Description:

Describe the overall purpose of this position, including the value that it brings to the organization. The Productivity Engineer will drive the efforts to determine the best in class cost optimized designs across all product lines. This person will lead productivity projects and tasks activities by assuming full technical responsibility and document using the appropriate tools.

Responsabilidades

Main Responsibilities:

• Drive cost optimized projects in an effective manner to accomplish the annual productivity plan objectives per the AOP.

• Responsible for optimizing the design to meet customer’s best practices and suggest methods of continuous improvement.

• Coordinate testing of cost savings projects, evaluates test results, and approves or rejects the implementation based on test results.

• Investigate cost savings potential projects from vendor proposals.

• Spearhead cost reduction workshops.

• Analyze product design data to determine conformance to established design selection criteria utilizing the standardized parts.

• Capable of learning different database software and system tools to analyze cost data.

Calificaciones

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree(s) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Electrical or any similar career.

• 2-5 years’ experience of product design and project management.

• Excellent communication skills, oral & written.

• Advanced English.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Master’s degree a Plus.
