Citi’s client base in Japan includes governmental institutions, financial institutions, multinational corporations and institutional investors. Citi has a long and proud history of serving these clients across a broad range of products, including corporate and investment banking, markets and securities services, capital markets origination, treasury and trade solutions, and research.
Corporate Planning is responsible for (1) Franchise/ Legal Entity Governance & Control and (2) Franchise/ Legal Entity Coordination. The consolidated Corporate Planning Platform facilitates integrated and seamless operations of efficient and enhanced Legal Entity/ Group/ Franchise Governance.
Planning and coordination of governance organization of Japan Legal Entities and Japan Franchise
Coordination of cross business/ functional / Legal Entity matters in governance and control
Operation of governance forums, i.e., Board of Directors/ Management Committees/ Country Coordinating Committee, ensuring compliance with laws/ regulations and Citi’s policies
Planning, coordination and execution of franchise level projects on governance and control
Management of Legal Entity organization change process
Management of framework for maintenance of past regulatory commitments
Support for CEO and Chairman
Administration of Corporate Planning Department duties
Excellent external communication skills
Excellent internal communication skills
Strong delivery capability
Project management skills
Basic understanding of laws and regulations
Working level English proficiency
Native level Japanese proficiency
