Responsibilities

Canyon Ridge Hospital is currently seeking a compassionate and talented Admissions Representative to join our team.

Canyon Ridge Hospital has serviced the Greater Inland Empire since 1989. Canyon Ridge is a 157-bed acute, locked psychiatric facility offering services to adolescents ages 13-17, adults and older adults.

POSITION SUMMARY

Admission of patients by sign-in process by meeting with patients and / or their families.

We believe in an individualized, patient-focused approach to diagnosis and treatment. For some, anxiety or drug dependence looks different from others with the same diagnoses, and in some cases, behavioral health and substance use disorders occur simultaneously. In these cases of dual diagnosis, we treat the patients in the best way possible given their specific needs.

    Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent experience/education with a minimum of two years experience in hospital admission department, business office, or equivalent relevant experience and / or education.

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, thorough knowledge of computer applications.

  • Strong customer service skills, ability to concentrate on task in high traffic area, maintain information as highly confidential, strong organization and priority setting skills, a ttention to detail, empathy.
