Naval Air Systems Command SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in China Lake, California
Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the CONFIGURATION AND DATA MANAGEMENT DIVISION, WEAPONS INTEGRATION LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will be responsible for performing Supervisory duties which will include but may not be limited to; establishing performance plans and conduct regular performance reviews for STRL employees. You will review and approve timecards, training requests, travel orders, claims, requisitions, etc. You will plan and monitor integrated logistics support (ILS) for weapons systems/equipment. You will plan, schedule, coordinate, and direct the preparation and implementation of design documentation for newly developed and/or configured equipment and computer software, using applicable Department of Defense (DoD) documentation standards. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Performing in a leadership, manager or coordinator role requiring the acquisition, assignment and management of resources; 2) Working in a team/collaborative environment to accomplish organizational objectives; 3) Planning, implementing and managing a comprehensive, affordable and effective support strategy (processes and procedures) for Hardware and/or Software Configuration and Data Management; 4) Providing technical direction, analyzing alternatives, and recommending configuration and data management techniques (planning, identification, control, status accounting and audits) in accordance with DoD standards as appropriate to the program; 5) Overcoming obstacles and/or objections when presenting new information or direction through strategic communication, objective reasoning, and adapting their message to fit the intended audience.
