JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Kaytee is growing and is currently looking to add a3rd Shift Forklift Operator to our team. Your primary role would be moving products or materials in Production and/or Warehouse using power tools and vehicles. The typical work schedule entails regular business hours, averaging at least 40 hours per week. For this role, you\'ll work four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Thursday; enjoy a long weekend every week!There may be some variation in work hours due to overtime, special projects, deadlines, and other concerns. Chilton, WI MEASURES OF SUCCESS Utilize forklift or handcart to transport materials from the warehouse to the production area Accurately record information in SAP using transaction codes. Transport finished goods from production to pallet wrapping area; apply shrink wrap and transport to warehouse or designated area Unload trailers receiving in and putting away Record production complete, materials received or distributed and maintains inventory records Monitor packaging materials and completes requisition forms when reordering from other departments Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion Understand and know the goals and objectives of the department Comply with all safety rules and company policies Other tasks as assigned by supervisor Responsible for reporting any Food Safety issues to authorized personnel for correction. IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to operate forklift and handcart in a safe manner Ability to work independently in an efficient and accurate manner Must have the ability to lift up to 60 lbs on a regular basis Must have the ability to bend, twist, turn and climb Possess solid organizational skills Ability to work overtime as needed Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. Work temperatures can vary due to outside temperatures.
