We are currently hiring Accounts Payable Team Lead in the Hub Financial Center (HFC) , the centralized accounting team for HUB International. The Senior Accounting Associate is the bridge between Accounting Associates and the department leadership team.

What you’ll do

• Driving day to day structure to align with department workload and manage resources

• Continuously foster an engaged and welcoming environment with the HFC purpose in mind

• Establish and engage in daily connects that allow for collaboration, discussion, and solutions

• Invest in the development and growth of team members

• Support Leadership with department’s goals and efficiencies

• In depth understanding of Excel to interpret department’s health

• Complete other projects and duties as assigned

What you bring to our team

• Requires at least 1 year’s team lead experience

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Intermediate/Advanced Word and Excel Skills required

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Have a high degree of accuracy with a good eye for detail

• Demonstrate ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and growing environment

• Preferred a minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting/finance field

• Must have flexibility of working additional hours as needed based on business needs

The expected salary range for this position is $40,950 to $54,600 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.

HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
