AutoZone, Inc. Payroll Support Analyst in Chihuahua, Mexico

Responsibilities:

  • Creates monthly Payroll metrics dashboards for Payroll Tax, Customer Service, Payroll Processing and Garnishments; includes querying and combining data from HCM, Genesys and multiple third-party applications.

  • Prepares monthly payroll tax reconciliations, identifying out of balance issues before sending information to Payroll Tax team for detailed review and resolution.

  • Processes stock equity transaction from third-party plan administrator into HCM. Complete balancing spreadsheet and submit to Payroll management for sign-off.

  • Prepares data files for HDML file load into HCM and place on server for automated pickup.

  • Completes daily ACH Return process, which includes end dating reject direct deposit accounts, enter details to team tracker, create HCM upload file to load pay elements to replace payments.

  • Assists with annual unclaimed property process, including validation that payment didn’t previously clear and preparing HDML upload to HCM to replace payments as needed.

  • Reviews, replies to and routes AutoZoner inquiries received to the team mailbox using standardized MS Outlook Quick Parts and prepared documents.

  • Provide WOW! Customer Service to all AutoZoners and internal customers

    Requirements:

  • Level of formal education : A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent

  • Area of study: Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field required

  • Years of experience: 2-3 years.

  • Type of experience :

  • Oracle HCM Payroll and PeopleSoft GL

  • Demonstrated analytical skills

  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement as well as developing and writing policies and procedures.

  • Ability to handle competing deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven dispute, negotiation, and resolution abilities

  • Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to build trusted relationships across the company, deal constructively with conflict, and adapt to a fast-paced environment involving multiple and simultaneous issues and transactions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address issues in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to develop problem solving skills among team members as appropriate.

  • Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the use of outside data sources to gather required information for analysis and reporting.
