Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will design and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as current products modification and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy. You are responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and product improvements. Design components that form parts of complex systems. Use mechanical engineering experience for a mix of product development and improvement. Utilize your engineering capabilities to support projects in a variety of markets.

JOB DUTIES:

• Technical documentation of design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies, and final products.

• Design components for complex systems and follow new product development processes.

• Deliver hardware designs on time and perform tolerance analyses.

• Implement testing plans and communicate information to clients.

• Coordinate with other departments and stay updated on new technologies.

• Travel to support projects and apply high-quality design practices.

• Write specifications.

• Cost estimation.

• 3D modeling.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 3D modeling product design.

• 3 - 5 years of experience in product design roles; development, validation, and management of engineering changes and release.

• Proven knowledge of plastic materials, injection molding of plastics, Moldflow analysis, manufacturing processes and tooling, elastomers, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.

• Skills and knowledge in mechanical design using Creo Parametrics, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and general CAD proficiency.

• Blueprint interpretation.

• Tolerance analysis.

• Knowledge in plastic product design.

• Intermediate-Advanced English.
