Copeland Logistics Clerk/Analyst in Chihuahua, Mexico

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Debugging and qualification of the logistics provider base

  • Plan and execute the transition of logistics operations from USA to Mexico

  • Provide supplier training to use the Copeland logistics platform

  • Escalate problems of delays, damage, loss of material with the carrier

  • Quote air movements and full truck loads to analyze the best options in terms of time and cost

  • Ensure that the carriers authorized by Copeland work under the standards

  • Analyze cost of invoices and approve or reject them

  • Support manufacturing plants

  • Support supplier with SCO/OTM issues

  • Logistics Support to the different areas of the company

  • Supervision of transport services in all modalities (Maritime, Air, Land, Rail, Multimodal both Export and Import operations)

  • Analysis of logistics expenses

  • Responsible for the negotiation, implementation and execution of Logistics, including freight, courier of the plant observing the application of the foreign trade policy.

  • Prior to the contracting or use of services of Logistics and/or transport companies and each time there is a change in your data (Ex. Company Name, Address, ETC) carry out the review activities that are indicated as mandatory in the Emerson screening guidelines and its screening matrix with the aim of always achieving the best practices.

  • Perform the review of the complete list of Logistics and/ or transport companies at least every quarter.

  • Keep proof of the performance of such activities and available for internal use or requirement of Emerson Corporate

  • Linking our company with all Copeland group business units

  • Attention and contact with foreign clients and intercompany

  • Integration of Electronics & Controls general logistics activities

  • Other activities or duties assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in International Trade, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related career. (Required)

  • Experience 2 – 5 years in similar position

  • Ability to integrate measurable development projects.

  • Oriented to teamwork and results

  • Ease of working with multicultural teams

  • Knowledge and experience in international trade

  • Trained in Supply Chain areas

  • Knowledge in international foreign trade regulations

  • Plan for continuous improvement

  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Windows, Office, Oracle JDE Edwards

  • Advances written and conversational English (Bilingual Preferred)

  • Ability to integrate measurable development projects

  • Oriented to teamwork and results.

  • Ease of working with multicultural teams

  • Knowledge and experience in international trade

  • Trained in Supply Chain areas

  • Knowledge in international foreign trade regulations

  • Plan for continuous improvement
