SUMMARY:

To deliver desired, sustainable business outcomes and assure the integrity and continuity of our systems. This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of AutoZone’s hardware, software and/or network applications. This includes acquiring domain knowledge, growing technical skills, supporting the customers, resolving problems, and training as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be the first line of support for the BI Team (for developers and final users on stores).

• Performs code review for the BI Tools.

• General administration of the BI Tools:

• Create new users.

• Create folders for the code.

• Create connections and metadata files from DBs.

• Troubleshoot issues with developers.

• Open cases and follow up with the vendor.

• Grant access to the reporting portal to users.

• Perform change management activities (move code to QA/PROD).

  REQUIREMENTS:

• Level of formal education: A bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.

• Area of study: Computer Science Systems Engineering or related field.

• Years of experience: No experience.

• Type of experience:

• Knowledge of MS Office.

• Novice proficiency with AutoZone software, architecture, and methodology. Technical skills may include experience with one or more of:

• Operative Systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows)

• Reporting tools (WebFOCUS, SAS, Looker, Alation, Tableau, Alteryx)

• Programming Languages (any object-oriented)

• Databases (Oracle)

• SQL (basic knowledge on queries - Select)

• Basic problem solving, domain technical and analytical skills.
