Emerson Project Manager in CHIHUAHUA CENTRO, Mexico

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Serve as the primary owner of the product transfer and facility startup, ensuring alignment with program objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

  • Handle the Mexico project budget, including capital and expense tracking, reporting, and adherence to financial targets.

  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies using structured frameworks.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing engineering, quality, supply chain, procurement, trade compliance, and EHS, to achieve program goals.

  • Act as a liaison between local teams and U.S.-based counterparts to ensure flawless communication, alignment, and support.

  • Lead all planning, execution, and validation activities to ensure operational readiness while maintaining strict adherence to safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead all aspects of equipment qualification, process validation, and startup activities to deliver high-quality products and efficient operations.

  • Identify, assess, and address project risks to ensure timely and successful completion.

  • Handle change control processes to address adjustments in scope or requirements while maintaining alignment with program objectives.

  • Provide regular updates to leadership and customers on project progress, financial performance, and key turning points.

  • Foster alignment, transparency, and engagement from all partners throughout the project lifecycle.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field. Advanced degree or PMP certification is a plus.

  • 8+ years of solid experience managing complex manufacturing projects, including product transfers and facility startups.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage capital and expense budgets effectively.

  • Familiarity with the Stage Gate Processes or similar structured project management frameworks.

  • Strong project management skills with a solid track record of delivering high-quality results.

  • Proficiency in budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams and collaborators.

  • Expertise in ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to quality standards.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and financial systems.
