Position Overview

Shaw Industries is hiring for a Financial Systems Manager to plan and coordinate budgetary and accounting activities at Plant SI. This role will allow for a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and updating the annual Business Plan

  • Responsible for Plant SI Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Variance Projections

  • Responsible for Bridge explanation of differences in Actual vs Projected Variances

  • Direct Plant Accountant on activity to be booked for weekly and month-end POVA.

  • Coordinate the generation of the annual budget—work with Planning, Industrial Engineering, and Manufacturing to determine the production plan, required headcount, and budgeted spending.

  • Responsible for generating annual budget in Impact 3C, including headcount by job and cost center and spending by account and cost center.

  • Work with Plant Management, Technical Managers as needed on project paybacks, what-if scenarios, new products, changes to existing products/processes in order to identify the financial impact on the business.

  • Ensure regular cycle counts are conducted for Raw Materials, WIP, Finished Goods, and the Supply Room to maintain the corporate exemption from year-end counts.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Accounting, Business, Management, IE, or similar field and 2+ years of Plant or Company level financial experience.

  • Or 3-5 years of equivalent financial management experience

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
