JPMorgan Chase Tax Oriented Investments Controller - Associate in Chicago, Illinois

Join the Tax Oriented Investments team as an Associate!

As a Tax Oriented Investments Associate within the Corporate Investment Banking division, you will be tasked with overseeing product control, managing legal entity control, and ensuring financial control.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with the business, middle office, and technology colleagues

  • Maintaining LOB portfolio via finance subledger

  • Maintaining and overseeing LOB legal entity structure reporting

  • Reconciliation and analysis of portfolio data to support controller function

  • Delivering month end and quarterly reporting deliverables

  • Assist with implementation of process improvements across LOB applications

  • Developing subject matter expertise such as portfolio GAAP and LOB controls and understanding how those concepts apply to the LOB's technology platform.

  • Performing other reporting and analysis activities as needed

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Accounting degree

  • 3+ years of work experience in an accounting position

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Ability and desire to problem solve

  • Aptitude for numbers and financial analysis

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience month-end close process (SAP a plus)
