Job Description • As part of the IT Operations team, the Technology Engineer Associate contributes projects and coordinate team members from internal and external groups to drive projects to successful completion • Provide status updates and reporting on projects to team leads and/or management team • Participates identifying process improvements within IT Ops and other teams • Collaborates with Development, QA, Security and Service Delivery to identify, resolve and document issues and processes • Contributes to improve security policies, initiatives, and compliance reporting • Ensures performance and stability through the use of monitoring tools and alerting across all in-house and cloud network, server, and platform operating systems and applications, including configurations, testing and maintenance • Identify potential issues, recommends, and implement possible solutions. • Collaborates with teams to improve network, system designs, inventory, and documentation. • Participation in rotating afterhours on call duties Education - Minimum: Required • Bachelor’s Degree, IT, Computer Science, or related field; or o 4 additional years of professional exempt level IT Technical experience in a similar role to substitute for the bachelor’s degree Minimum Responsibilities: o Participates in technical projects across teams o Interfaces with internal business units o Improving processes within IT Operations and other teams o Identifying and implementing and administering new technology (i.e. MS Teams) o Azure o Windows server 2012 R2 +, Active Directory, DFS, GPO and other Microsoft technologies. o Office365 Administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint Online etc.) o Terminal Services (Microsoft RDS preferred) o Scripting (Powershell, etc) and building required automation Preferred: • Ability to identify and research new technologies • Network, Telecom and SDWAN Experience • SCCM administration and support • ServiceNow ticketing handling experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Need someone familiar with change management processes. -Need experience with managing incidents - gather information from other IT teams and understanding what is going on from an incident remediation standpoint. -Monitoring tickets in NOW - handling the ticket directly or escalating to the engineering group. -Open to remote candidates for this, but preference would be someone local to Chicagoland. -After hours support - very rare, but will come up occasionally. They have a 2nd shift team in place, but there may be a chance this person works some after hours support. -Reports into the Director of IT Ops.
