Hatch is seeking highly motivated student for a Junior Advisory Analyst Intern position with our Advisory team.This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced Advisory staff who will provide guidance and mentoring. You will gain new skills and we will build on the strengths you bring to the team.

As an Junior Advisory Analyst Intern, you will live our Manifesto and help us solve our clients most challenging problems.

Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree in Engineering (i.e. Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, etc.), Business, Economics or Finance
Minimum of a cumulative 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Experience as part of the university consulting club with strong academic record
Demonstrated outstanding academic performance.
Strong leadership initiative, commitment to excellence and personal growth.
Keen interest in mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure and supporting technical and business management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges
Demonstrates initiative, with a self-starter attitude
Ability to learn quickly and take on new challenges
Adapts and embraces change
Strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite, experience with PowerPoint
Strong Excel skills
Responsibilities:
Developing and/or assisting in the preparation of cost models, financial models or business cases for projects and initiatives, for external clients and within Hatch
Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources and reconciling conflicts
Deconstructing high level information to identify the underlying fundamental drivers and aggregating detailed information to inform a holistic understanding
Proactively communicating and collaborating with internal customers to analyze information needs and deliver written reports, presentations, and verbal reports, as needed
Collating and summarizing information using data collected from existing data sources, document analysis, workshops, surveys, and business process descriptions
Preparing cases and scenarios to assist analysts and consultants
Collaborating with subject matter experts to analyze tradeoffs between planned objectives and business performance needs
Assisting with administrative support, as required
Successfully managing multiple initiatives simultaneously

Compensation range depends on education, major, experience (overall), and interview skills. For ideal candidates, the compensation range can be $26-$28 hourly. Please feel free to contact us for information on additional compensation and programs.
