Job Description Summary

Sr HR Partner to PCS sub-businesses and operating functions – including but not limited to product management, Technology, and the Sub-businesses of Monitoring Solutions and Digital Solutions. The role is accountable for developing and executing HR strategy in support of the business objectives and being a connected partner for our senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will provide expertise and guidance to drive effective HR practices (strategic workforce planning, organization design, organizational effectiveness, culture, colleague engagement, change management, talent assessment and development, succession planning, performance management). Colleagues are located across the five major design and operational hubs in the US, Mexico, Finland, China and India.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop deep trusting relationship with leaders to enable rich coaching, feedback, and influence in business decisions, especially those impacting people and culture

  • Provide timely, effective, and direct coaching to business leaders, assisting in the development of strong leadership skills

  • Partner with stakeholders to design and evolve effective organization structures and roles aligned to company strategy and priorities.

  • Be a culture carrier, partnering with leaders to deeply embed the aspired GE Healthcare culture

  • Coach and influence leaders to effectively lead change across the organization, breaking down barriers and engaging colleagues in the vision, plan, and actions

  • Drive strategic focus and action toward our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategy and goals

  • Monitor and track key talent metrics and take appropriate actions to improve performance

  • Lead talent processes and initiatives across assigned business group; talent assessment, succession planning, and development strategies to select, retain, and develop critical talent

  • Champion and coach simplification, acting as a role model reducing complexity and building capability in individuals and teams to do so.

  • Proactively presents business solutions to leaders in functional areas with high focus on technology.

  • Partner within internal People and Culture centers of excellence to access, understand and apply processes and resources effectively. (i.e., Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Talent Analytics, etc.)

  • As a member of the PCS People & Culture leadership team, be an enterprise contributor, seeking opportunities to get involved and leverage your experience and expertise for impact on the broader business and people/culture initiatives beyond your normal scope.

  • Partner with the PCS CTO to build the R&D Talent Strategy.

  • Influence the PCS Digital transformation, working in tandem with the Digital leader to define and enable the organization to build Digital capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on strategic HR business partnering.

  • Experience working globally across multiple business units and functions in a mid to large sized, matrixed organization.

  • Experience supporting technology organizations and colleagues.

  • Demonstrated experience in making strategic HR decisions, coaching and assessing leadership talent, and effectively interfacing with senior-level business leaders
