Summary:
The Workday HRIS Application Analyst will be responsible for the set up and configuration of at least one or more Workday functional areas inclusive of Learning, Recruiting, Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Talent, Help, and Payroll. This role will work directly with third parties and internal stakeholders leading and participating in design sessions to gather and document the functional and technical requirements within a product development framework. This role reports directly to the Workday HCM and Payroll Application Manager.
This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business and technical disciplines and providing expertise in the development and execution of a comprehensive technical program for the Workday application.

Other information:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• 5 years working with enterprise resourcing planning application software
• Workday certification preferred
• Deep understanding or desire to learn Workday technical architecture and best practices
• Detailed oriented with excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in creating and maintaining documentation.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with multiple IT and business partners
Responsibilities:
• Participate in configuration design sessions for the development, implementation, configuration and testing of Workday HCM functional areas, processes, integrations, and reports.
• Provide subject matter expertise in the configuration, updating and administration of end-to-end processes for the Workday application.
• Assist with the requirements gathering, development and testing of integrations and reports.
• Lead and participate in strategic workforce planning and decision support analysis activities for third-party applications or Adaptive Planning.
• Develop Workday HCM Reports
• Maintain high level data quality and completeness for worker employment and payroll information.
• Analyze Workday implementation and product releases and provide input to the optimization and enhancement of new functionality.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and configure solutions that align with organizational objectives.
• Provide education and assist with training team members and stakeholders and end-users regarding integration processes
• Stay informed about Workday updates and new features related to security and manage the implementation of necessary changes or improvements.
• Communicate and work directly with vendors and internal teams to gather configuration and reporting requirements
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Maintains confidentiality about information being processed, stored or accessed
• Proactively address and resolve issues as they arise.
