The Sr. Master Data Manager role is a strategic leadership role that will oversee the master data (MDM) management domain within Lactalis USA business units. The position requires firm competency in strategic and tactical approaches to data governance, with an emphasis on MDM processes ownership and understanding of the integrated nature of an ERP solution with other applications. This is a crucial role in SAP Core Model implementation projects, and business operations stabilization. The Sr. Master Data Manager will ensure that all data critical to the operation of the business such as material, vendor, customer, pricing, and financial data are accurately and consistently managed throughout "Lactalis Integrated System" (L.I.S.).
Functional Challenge
The Lactalis Group has embarked on an enterprise processes standardization strategy that requires successful implementation of the L.I.S. program, based on SAP Core Model and a suite of integrated applications. We are looking for a talented Master Data Leader to collaborate with corporate data governance organization to standardize the design, structure and execution of Master Data Management Strategy for Lactalis USA business units.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
Responsible for assuring data quality for each Lactalis business unit during L.I.S. implementation, transition to operations, and ensuring data governance maturity is achieved within a short period.
Responsible for strengthening the current master data management framework to be more standardized, consistent and robust to support L.I.S. and Lactalis USA business units’ operations.
Lead data teams to adopt MDM processes for creating, maintaining, and governing data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability across the organization.
Accountable for all business operations master data deliverables for L.I.S. implementation, such as data profiling, data cleansing, data validation, testing, quality assurance and change management activities.
Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand business needs
Identify standards and strategies to maintain master data quality and integrity
Authorize data usage across the enterprise.
Ensure communication and coordination across business units.
Participate in launch-projects for new product releases
Development of project plans and project deliverables
Evaluation and recommendation pertaining to data-related aspects of both current and proposed business application solutions
Develop training for master data processes and business rules behind master data Documentation of new processes to ensure team adopt proper data management practices.
Actively engage with business leaders in establishing master data policies and take a leadership role in the governance process
Develop and implement a team self-assessment program that evaluates key processes and procedures, industry best practices, and changes in the business environment
Ensure compliance with all Company and FDA Quality requirements
Maintain consistent data across LIS and cross functional streams.
Liaise with stakeholders to align data practices with business objectives.
Ensure department project management milestones and goals are met by adhering to set project constraints.
Leadership Responsibilities
Lead Master Data Management for Lactalis USA business units
Responsible for the hiring, training, development, evaluation, discipline, and general supervision of sta?. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-wide MDM initiative within manufacturing sector
7-10 years of experience with MDM and SAP master data within a manufacturing environment
Must possess strong stakeholder management skills, presentation skills, with competency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and MS Teams
High level of Technical Knowledge of SAP Master Data
Demonstrated ability to train and manage staff
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong team building and planning skills
Strong analytical and negotiating skills
Excellent leadership and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
Ability to operate in a team environment.
