You Are: A skilled utility industry practitioner with the know how to help clients meet the challenges of digitization. You have the experience, creativity, and analytical power to design and implement the next generation of enterprise asset management solutions: your bread and butter are the utility processes underpinning enterprise asset management, asset health and maintenance, and asset performance lifecycles. As a Senior Manager in our Enterprise Transformation capability in the Utilities sector (Electric, Gas & Clean Generation), you'll work as part with clients to help to solve complex business issues from strategy to sustainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement enterprise transformation strategies that align with clients' sustainability goals and industry trends in the utilities sector for their enterprise services encompassing HR, Finance, EAM and Supply Chain functions.

  • Analyze and redesign enterprise processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across HR, Finance, EAM and Supply Chain within the utilities sector.

  • Work with clients on regulatory and sustainability matters ensuring alignment across all enterprise functions.

  • Identify and implement best practices in financial management, HR operations, and supply chain management, including reporting and controls specific to the utilities sector.

  • Oversee the selection and implementation of enterprise management systems applying an utility industry lens, to support transformation efforts and enhance reporting capabilities across HR, Finance, EAM and Supply Chain.

  • Develop and manage reporting frameworks, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making in liaison with industry consulting and client stakeholders from HR, Finance, and Supply Chain.

  • Guide clients through the organizational transformation, including organizational structures, processes and talent management considerations to move their organizational towards new capability levels, support to ensure smooth transitions, and sustainment of new processes and systems across all enterprise functions.

  • Ensure that enterprise processes and systems adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards within the utilities sector.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to building and continuously refreshing the long-term vision and strategy to continue growing the business.

  • Take ownership in business development activities, pursuing opportunities, and leading their delivery.

  • Lead and build team members to drive excellence, meet team strategy and required KPIs, and be active in business development and thought leadership about specific enterprise matters.

  • Demonstrate strong project management skills (PMP) as the delivery role requires senior client and stakeholder management, project budgeting and finance management, coaching, and resource management on high-profile clients.

  • Create, review, and deliver complex client deliverables, including executive-level reporting through to detailed design documentation.

  • Manage a global mindset and ability to connect with colleagues across the consulting line of services and other lines of services, to bring high-value multidisciplinary solutions to clients.

  • Lead, coach, train, and mentor junior staff, supporting their growth and career development.

  • Ability to travel up to 80%

Skills and Competencies

  • 7 years of experience in identifying, building and creating sustained business value cases to support our clients value journey

  • 7 years of experience in conducting enterprise function assessments and opportunity funneling for pilots with a focus on the utilities industry

  • 7 years of experience in providing process expertise for implementation in end-to-end processes (Order to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay) covering design and implementation across HR, Finance, EAM and Supply Chain

  • 7 years of experience in designing operating models, governance, and communication frameworks within the enterprise functions

  • 7 years of experience with implementation and/or implementation supervision of full life cycle ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or others)

    Professional Skill Requirements

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Proven track record in sales of professional services

  • Proven track record in revenue under management (implementation oversight and control)

  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality strategic engagements in the utilities sector clients

  • Strong interest and passion for developing, growing, and leading a team through advanced coaching and mentoring, as well as proactive knowledge sharing

  • Desire to work in an information systems environment

  • Good understanding of change management and coaching needs to adopt in client environments

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
