What you'll be doing
Mastery of the following systems: SEI, PME , ORS system, CRD Trading, Portal Applications, Investedge
Client portfolio trading (mutual funds/submitting fixed income orders/equities)
Prepare asset allocations, performance reporting and materials for investment reviews
Clearing overdrafts as necessary
Preparing materials for client meeting books
Prepare custom reports when required: Asset allocation proposals, portfolio diagnostic reporting, specific research requests
Awareness of current capital market events
Custom reporting/sole focus on performance reporting
Occasional coordination of business development efforts/events
Ensure that portfolios are maintained according to specified asset allocation or client guidelines
Rebalance portfolios due to liquidity needs or excess cash, bond maturities, manager changes, tax loss harvesting, or investment recommendation implementation
Assist Senior Relationship Managers in compiling data on investment strategy, investment process, portfolio performance, investment results, and financial markets outlook for communication to clients and prospects
Ensure knowledge of our entire investment solution suite; staying current on investment products
Perform annual investment reviews
Ensure appropriate operational and compliance risk controls are implemented and managed in accordance with CIBC and Line of Business requirements
Assist capital calls for alternative investments as needed

Who you are
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trust and/or investments
Strong interest in capital markets
Strong client service orientation
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with an attention to detail
Flexibility with the ability to multi–task and meet deadlines
Strong work ethic
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
Proactive; ability to work independently and in a team environment, with minimal direction
