The Residence Hall Director is a full-time, live-in, professional staff member responsible for the daily operations of a 250-650 bed residents hall(s) or on-campus apartments. TheRHDdirectly supervises 9-12 Resident Advisors. TheRHDis responsible for community development, administration, and supervision of a residence hall complex or group of residence halls. The Residence Hall Director, reports to the Associate Director of Residence Life, and is a member of the Office of Residence Life. TheRHDsupports the mission of the Office of Residence Life to promote inclusive communities that foster the educational and social development of students in safe and well-maintained environments. Departmental functions are centered on the core values of strong communities, student success, personal development, and collaboration. Based on a culture of innovation, excellence, and customer care, the Office of Residence Life will be recognized as a resource and leader in living communities and holistic development by students, campus partners, and other academic institutions. On- call responsibilities are shared for 1,200-1,500 residents.
