Responsible for and/or makes the needed recommendations for the hiring, discipline and performance evaluation of staff; responsible for coaching, supervising, training, scheduling and professional development of staff; responsible for assigning work to staff and ensuring the work is performed in an efficient, prompt, professional and accurate manner and provides guidance, when necessary.2. Handles client and employee concerns as well as crisis situations in consultation with his/her supervisory chain and in compliance with Agency/Programmatic policies and procedures and treats each case with sensitivity and expedience when on site.3. Completes all required documentation in accordance with agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing, funding or accrediting bodies.4. Conducts initial and periodic assessments of residents per Supportive Living Regulations.5. Available to respond to call offs and able to coordinate replacements staff to ensure 24-hour coverage.6. Provides with assistance from the LPN, basic patient care, including developing service plans, documenting health details and vital signs, administers medications in accordance with physician's orders and assists with various Activities of Daily Living.7. Works directly with visiting health care professionals and client's private medical team to ensure the clients receive the best overall health care.8. Maintains up-to-date and accurate client files and databases, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education:Preferred: Bachlelor's Degree RNMinimum: Bachlelor's Degree RN
Relevant Experience:Preferred: 5 Years working with geriatric population. Supervisory experience.Minimum: 2 Years working with geriatric population. Supervisory experience.
Certification/Licensure:Preferred: Minimum: Valid Illinois Nursing license. Current CPR certification.
