Position Highlights :

Position Responsibilities:

  • Calls pre-op patients to obtain medical information to enter into electronic medical record

  • Provides pre-op instructions for surgical patients

  • Staff nursing opportunities to participate in research, teaching and other activities for professional development.

  • Significant phone interaction with patients

Position Qualifications:

  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure

  • BSN or MSN

  • 1-2 years of Recovery Room, Critical Care or acute care hospital nursing experience

  • CPR certification issued by AHA or ARC
