Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Description

We are hiring for an Quality Control Technician (Entry Level - Mid Level).

You will conduct in-process and finished product quality checks/inspections, test processing batches and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications, interpret and record results of all checks/inspections performed, and document results in accordance with established processes and procedures.

Additional responsibilities include performing Critical Control verifications, following Hold procedures for non-conforming material or products, retaining samples for Mold Study, reviewing in-process and finished product paperwork, reporting any issues regarding food safety or quality to management and applicable supervisors, and performing other tasks or duties as required by the QA Manager.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• GMP experience

• Factory/warehouse experience

Work Environment

• 100% quality control position on the production line. Multiple shifts that needs to be filled.

• Flexibility is very important, as they may need to come in earlier/start later depending on staff. They also can expect to work 5-10 hours of overtime a week, and may be required to come in one day on the weekends depending on the business need.

• 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm

• 2nd shift: 2:00-10:30pm

• 3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:30am

• Will train on all QC tasks tasks.

Three Different Tiers/Pay Rates

• Tier 1 (0 yrs experience, some warehouse/factory exp in a GMP environment highly preferred) - $17/hr

• Tier 2 (1 year of experience in QC) - $19/hr

• Tier 3 (2 yrs of experience in QC + experience with document control, reporting, graphing) - $21/hr
