What you will be doing

You will be joining CIBC’s US Infrastructure Operations team. The role will administer Proofpoint Platform ensuring its smooth operation and optimal performance. Administrator with strong Proofpoint experience will be responsible for running day-to-day operations , handling tickets, responding to incidents and interfacing with various line of business and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of email archiving systems working closely with the Enterprise CMAS team.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot archiving issues

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of email systems with other applications and platforms.

  • Respond to user inquiries and resolve problems promptly.

  • Provides troubleshooting and support, including on-call rotation, after-hours support.

  • Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations

  • Other duties as assigned.

Work arrangement

  • Troubleshooting and Technical Skills - Work closely with key business and technology partners to ensure that business and client impact issues are well understood and addressed. Ensure all infrastructure management aspects maintain adherence to all regulatory and information security standards and policies.

  • Critical Thinker – Create better ways of solving technical problems and not be afraid of challenging the status quo.

  • Relationship Management - Build strong relationships and partnerships with technical team members, clients, vendors, and peers. Lead discussions, listen, and ask the right questions to ensure problems/issues are identified and resolved.

Who you are

You can demonstrate experience in the following.

  • Experience supporting one or more archiving applications

  • Understanding of supervision / lexicons / sampling

  • O365 and Exchange 2019 with knowledge of journaling

  • Understanding of email protocols

  • Experience with Proofpoint Archive an asset

  • Experience with Rubrik backup
