Project Manager, SR
Chicago Department of Aviation
Chicago Midway Airport
Number of Vacancies: 1 (Additional vacancies possible pending budget approval)
Starting Salary: $102,492.00
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Manage, coordinate and direct projects falling under the scope of the Managing Deputy/Midway Airport, including projects related to stakeholder projects and relationships as well as coordinating with other CDA sections regarding construction, concessions, real estate, planning and terminal operations and projects.
· Develop and coordinate timeliness and projected costs and benefits related to projects.
· Provide leadership on coordination between working groups to facilitate communications and workplans.
· Communicate and coordinator between project stakeholders, including airlines and other tenants.
· Function as a specialized advisor to Managing Deputy/Midway Airport.
Additional duties may be required for this position.

Address: 5700 South Cicero
Shift: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Days Off: Saturday and Sundays
THIS POSITION IS EXEMPT FROM THE CAREER SERVICE
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS : A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration or in a field of study directly related to the responsibilities of the position, PLUS at least five years of project management work experience.
NOTE: Must be flexible to early and/or late meetings and occasional weekends.
NOTE: The candidates selected for hire must pass an airport background check and a
Security Threat Assessment.
NOTE: This position requires a valid driver’s license at the time of hire.

The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the interview and written assessment, will be selected.
