JPMorgan Chase Program Manager - Global Real Estate in Chicago, Illinois

As a West Central Program Manager in Global Real Estate, you will report directly to the West Central Regional Real Estate Manager and be accountable for overall performance and end-to-end development of property strategies, line of business alignment, and oversight of complex and multi-disciplined Global Real Estate projects across a portion of the West Central Region (totaling approx. 3.6 million square feet across Midwest states and Canada; including major support of Chicago projects)

You will be responsible for ensuring all projects (large and small, planned or unplanned) stay on time, on budget, and ensure the right stakeholders are engaged throughout the process. This position reports to the Regional Real Estate Manager for successful project execution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for shepherding projects through the end-to-end lifecycle, from planning, through execution, monitoring and closing

  • Manage resources, procedures and protocols, budgets and schedules to achieve intended business objectives for real estate projects (e.g. build outs, moves)

  • Continuously review the scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality of assigned projects

  • Reinforce identified facility standards (i.e., facilities, safety, security, energy efficiency, space, FFE, etc.)

  • Accountable for development of TFAs (Transaction Funding Approval) and CERPs (Capital Expenditure Request Package) leveraging functional teams for required content.

  • Act as the single point of contact to LOB and other JPMC stakeholders for all project-related concerns and communications

  • Coordinate project activity and communications with GRE and project stakeholders

  • Interact closely with LOB liaisons to understand/develop project expectations and business requirements; including signoff of scope and milestone event communications

  • Conduct portfolio analysis to help address or accommodate a project requests and business needs

  • Ensure occupancy / vacancy levels are well understood and actively reported and managed

  • As required, engage and inform GRE functional teams to identify and manage site surveys/ visits, project scope, due diligence, test fits, benchmarks, timeline (milestones), and financial analysis.

  • Document and manage project clients, stakeholders, change logs, timelines, site strategy, etc.

  • Monitor and manage sub-region efforts to ensure projects stay on schedule, including but not limited to: 1) TFA/CERP approvals 2) project milestones 3) cost center adjustments 4) Building360 floor plan updates, etc

  • Develop/Assist in the coordination of all sub-region project data management, analysis, reporting, metrics, and presentation development

  • Help prepare standard and ad-hoc management reports for senior leadership. Communicate the status of each project to include updates, rag ratings, budget and timeline details at regional governance meetings

  • Accountable for ensuring all project work with impacts on seat supply is fed into GRE's systems of record upon completion of project.

  • Help drive process improvement, quality and controls

  • Anticipate and resolve issues

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of real estate, property metrics, and occupancy standards, including 8+ years of industry aligned experience

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Ability to interact with wide array of internal customers, including senior management

  • Ability to creatively solve tactical issues and work against short timelines in a fast paced environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Must have excellent organizational, strategic planning and technical skills

  • Strong time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables

  • Travel required (e.g. site visits, market tours)
