This role can be based in the following offices: Chicago, Mountain View, San Francisco, Carpinteria, New York, Atlanta, Detroit, Washington DC, Omaha.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Foundations and Process Manager to join our Workforce Strategy & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing the foundational systems, processes, and reporting that drive our workforce planning initiatives. You will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of systems, tools, methodologies, and reporting solutions to support workforce planning across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment with business goals and drive continuous improvement in workforce planning practices.

Responsibilities

  • Standardize and scale key workforce planning methodologies, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to enable data-driven decision-making and strategic workforce management

  • Work cross-functionally to solve for one source of truth for workforce planning data, including identifying and solving issues and pain points in processes, systems, and databases

  • Create one-to-two-year roadmap of process and foundations to support scale and efficiency in operational workforce planning and enable move to strategic workforce planning.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather input, assess business needs, and develop comprehensive requirements for foundational systems, processes, and reporting that support workforce planning initiatives.

  • Partner with the business, FP&A, and technical teams to implement system or process changes based on requirements, managing tradeoffs and driving solutions for business outcomes.

  • Identify requirements for reporting solutions for workforce planning, including dashboards, scorecards, and ad-hoc reports, to provide insights and analytics to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Lead the testing, validation, and optimization of foundational systems, tools, and reporting solutions to ensure accuracy, functionality, and usability, addressing any issues or discrepancies as they arise.

  • Lead the development and implementation of foundational systems, processes, and tools for workforce planning, including demand forecasting, capacity planning, talent segmentation, and scenario modeling.

  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline workforce planning processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure scalability as the organization grows.

  • End to end project management / driving to execution of foundations and process projects including identifying risks and driving to resolution for areas that other teams will own

  • Serve as an expert problem solver and partner in structured thinking to broader People Analytics team; help develop this skill with more junior team members

  • Provide technical guidance/best practices and mentorship to other team members

  • Drive collaboration within the team and proactively identify opportunities to partner and learn from other teams to drive improvements

  • Prioritize work to ensure you are working on the right thing at the right time

Basic Qualifications:    

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience  

  • 6+ years of experience in people analytics, consulting, finance, analytics, and/or process / program management 

  • Prior experience in data analytics, management, and/or implementation of SaaS analytics solutions

Preferred Qualifications:    

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing a SAAS analytics tool

  • Understanding of HR processes and systems 

  • Self-starter and willing to take initiative towards improving strategies & processes  

  • Experience working collaboratively with multiple senior level cross functional partners  

  • Experience with HR systems (Workday, SmartRecruiters, or other operational / workforce management technology)

  • Proficiency in SQL and/or experience with database structures

The pay range for this role is $112,000 to $185,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
