Early Childhood Court Team

Job Summary

Provides data entry, support for research initiatives, and administrative support for UIUC programs for the operations of the Early Childhood Court Team (ECCT) as implemented under the provision of the program contract between University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Social Work and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support of continuous quality improvement through daily data entry of ECCT cases. Develop reports from data entered. Monitor database activity, document and report any system issues. Update and track cases in database and SACWIS. Regular updates to ECCT staff regarding case information and database modifications.
  • Support of ECCT Case Referrals through ECCT procedures and monitoring. Input client referrals in addition to data reflecting screening and client information. Create and maintain the ECCT referral and tracking data pertaining to clients. Provide monitoring of pending cases in need of ECCT program services. Support the collection of data and scheduling of clients for Child Parent Psychotherapy Program. Provide support to caseworkers, court team staff, database analysts, trainers and facilitators.
  • Works with Intervention Manager to support the scheduling of clients for Child and Family Team Meetings [CFTMs], court hearings and preparation of monthly program performance data reports. Supports the Community Practice Coordinators with scheduling meetings for clients, child welfare agencies, clinicians and court attorneys.
  • Responsible for processing staff weekly travel requests to the Program Director and Deputy Director of IDCFS. Assist key staff in the preparation of vital meetings. Transcribe meeting notes. Maintain and track office equipment inventory.
  • Provide office support to Office Manager as needed. Transmit facsimile, scans and assess postal delivery. Assist in project tasks. Maintain skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Any one or combination totaling eighteen (18) months from the categories below:
    1. College coursework in any curriculum as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
      • 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
      • Associate\'s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
    2. Work experience performing office/clerical activities, including the use of computer systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in database, spreadsheet, word processing, e-mail and desktop publishing applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Adept at data entry and using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

Appointment Information

This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 0846 - Office Support Associate position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the search closes. Hybrid work options may be available for this position, with the ability to be on-site in Chicago, IL as needed per the University\'s Workplace Flexibility policy. The wage for this position is \$18.924 per hour/\$36,901.8 annually. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
