Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in the daily operations and all related functions of the Campus Transportation office.

  • Ensures that parking, shuttle, 8-Ride, and van rental operations run efficiently on both LSC and WTC .

  • Responsible for following all established departmental procedures and policies.

  • Investigates and resolves customer inquiries via telephone, email, in person, and fax.

  • Processes customer payments for daily parking, permit, and ticket fees.

  • Troubleshoots malfunctioning pay machine equipment

  • Monitors functioning of all parking gates through the computerized gate and camera system, and maintains pay machine equipment.

  • Leads operations for game day parking during staffed athletics events

  • Assists with coordinating parking arrangements for outside groups and university departments.

  • Handles both paper and electronic filing and maintains multiple databases.

  • Assists with transportation services such as 8-Ride, shuttle, and van rentals.

  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

    Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience in an office setting.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to accurately count and deposit cash.

  • Flexible schedule and good communication skills.

  • Basic math, reading, writing, and typing skills.

  • Ability to work well independently.

Computer Skills

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Internet and email applications.
