We are currently seeking a motivated and accomplished Network Engineer to join our client's forward-thinking team in the Chicagoland area. This is a hybrid position with travel to Chicago required 2-3 days per week. Our role is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to be part of an innovative company that is transforming its industry!

Responsibilities:

• Design, establish, and maintain a network infrastructure that supports data, voice, video, and wireless services.

• Handle a variety of hardware including servers, routers, switches, load balancers, VPNs and WAN accelerators.

• Develop and implement software applications to ensure secure and efficient network operations.

• Secure network systems by developing security structures and implementing strong data security methods.

• Monitor network performance to increase efficiency and ensure that the network is running efficiently and robustly.

• Collaborate with teams to define network requirements and implement information technology solutions effectively.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must live in or be able to commute to Chicago - travel to Chicago required 2-3 days per week.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• Certifications in relevant areas are an advantage.

• Proven experience and hands-on practice with networking technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and team cooperation skills.

• Ability to multitask, manage network projects, prioritize specific duties, and meet deadlines.
