At PayPal, Technical Account Managers (TAMs) are excellent technical and functional resources with the ability to navigate complex issues seamlessly. You will manage portfolios of large merchant/partner accounts in North America and will be their point person, providing guidance for issues directly affecting valued customers.

Job Description:

nResponsibilities: n

n

n

+ Be the primary contact for all technical activities post-launch for managed merchants.

n

+ Do hands-on troubleshooting and ensure that their daily technical challenges are resolved quickly.

n

+ Monitor managed merchants' PayPal Integration health with real-time monitoring tools.

n

+ Understand PayPal products and their underlying architecture.

n

+ Perform regular technical audits on merchants' PayPal integration; provide code sa ples and recommendations for optimizing it and ensuring PayPal best practices are adopted.

n

+ Take part in regular technical account reviews and provide them with insights.

n

+ Advocate new PayPal product adoption and identify new opportunities where PayPal products and technologies can better fit in merchants' strategy and architecture.

n

+ Represent merchant's voice while providing feedback to PayPal's product and engineering teams to help prioritize the product roadmap accordingly.

n

+ Develop relationships across all levels and functions to create value for our merchants and PayPal.

n

+ Advocate for merchant/partner interests when working with other teams.

n

+ Build and document knowledge about merchant technical setups.

nBasic Qualifications n

n

n

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent technical experience or combination of education/experience.

n

+ 5+ years of prior experience in a technical, consulting, engineering, or sales role.

n

+ Proficient in current web or mobile technology standards

n

+ Working knowledge of firewalls, proxies, TCP/IP, network security and information security.

n

+ Hands-on experience (5 years) in a common web or mobile development language such as Java, JavaScript, Node, or PHP.

n

+ Experience with SQL, data visualization and monitoring tools, Linux/Unix.
