Rush is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our

outstanding Hem/Onc Infusion Room team in the Cancer Center

First Shift - Full Time - 4/10 Shifts

$2,000 sign on bonus

The ideal candidate will partner with providers to ensure a positive patient experience and support the provider with clinical tasks, documentation and in office procedures.

To qualify for this role, the ideal candidate must have:

• Current Clinical Medical Assistant Certification by AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA (includes principles and techniques of injections and medication administration) within 6 months of hire

• High School Diploma/GED required

Additional skills and preferred experience:

• Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program is required

• Current CPR Certification

• Minimum of one-year clinical experience preferred

• Phlebotomy experience preferred

• Computer skills required; Epic Ambulatory experience preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Excellent organizational skills
