JPMorgan Chase Loan Servicing Manager II in Chicago, Illinois

As a Loan Servicing Manager in Wholesale Lending Services, you will be responsible for leading a syndicated lending services team based in Chicago. This client-facing group is responsible for providing high-quality service to multiple internal and external parties. In a complex, sophisticated and evolving lending environment, this role is dynamic, highly visible, and multi-faceted.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead core Production teams responsible for Deal Set-Up/Funding and Loan Servicing functions while moving various client service priorities forward with a focus on measuring and improving client satisfaction

  • Build and cultivate strong relationships with different lines of business and key stakeholders across the firm, operating as an ambassador for Loan & Agency and Wholesale Lending Services more broadly

  • Govern the overall productivity and quality of the Chicago Production teams, acting as senior point of contact for business segment heads, Credit Risk, Legal, and other key business partners

  • Maintain a strong oversight of the risk & control environment; representing Wholesale Lending Services in various firm-wide risk forums, audit cycles, and operational risk deep dives where critical decisions are driven by quantitative and qualitative data

  • Create a culture of continued process improvement by identifying and driving implementation of technology initiatives and operational process changes to meet the requirement of the wholesale lending businesses and clients

  • Partner with Operational Excellence team to drive meaningful and strategic change such as process improvements, product governance and client experience enhancements

  • Partner with technology and transformation heads to re-imagine workflow, tools and reporting mechanisms in a dynamic manner while ensuring execution of efficiency initiative

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • 3 years of syndicated loan experience

  • Experience leading a complex lending operations

  • Outstanding leadership qualities with experience developing high-performance teams through continuous training and dynamic coaching

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to influence, drive and implement change across teams

  • Acute awareness of operational risks occurring throughout the lending lifecycle

  • Results driven; ability to lead/drive execution; methodical approach to identifying and solving issues

  • Strong presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • 3 years syndicated loan servicing experience

  • Proven success at transforming and/or building new operations and middle office teams

This is a hybrid role which requires going into the office 3 days a week with 2 days flexibility to work from home, which is subject to change.

Final Job Grade and officer title will be determined at time of offer and may differ from this posting.
