Robert Half Legal is partnering with a large national law firm that's hiring a Litigation Legal Assistant with at least 5+ years of experience supporting litigation attorneys to join their team. This Litigation Legal Assistant will provide legal administrative support to lawyers handling insurance defense litigation by administratively managing all phases of litigation and keeping them organized on all case matters. This position will be working in a hybrid WFH setting (3/2, depending on the week). The salary on this position is between $75-90K plus bonus and OT eligible. Litigation Legal Assistant Responsibilities:

• Prepare letters, memos, pleadings and other documentation as required

• File pleadings (electronically or otherwise) with the appropriate court systems

• Docket dates into a central docketing system

• Make travel arrangements

• Prepare expense reimbursement documentation

• Enter conflict information into the system for the purpose of running conflict checks for new clients as well as preparation of supporting documentation

• Maintain an appropriate filing system for all attorney and client work

• Enter attorney time

• Trial Preparation

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree preferred

• 5+ years of legal administrative experience supporting litigation attorneys

• Insurance defense litigation experience preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Experience with Imanage or other document management software preferred
