Lead UX/UI Designer - PDM Senior Consultant

Work you'll do
As a Lead UX/UI Designer , you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of accessible, user-friendly sites and programs . Ideal candidates will have a solution-focused mindset and the ability to collaborate as a team with technical and product leaders while also contributing independently. Candidates must be passionate about technology, demonstrate strong troubleshooting and research facilities, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Day to day job responsibilities may include :
Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, quality assurance engineers and clients to identify the best experience that meets user, business, and technical needs
Leverage strong interaction design skills and usability knowledge to make the complex User Interface clear and accessible, while understanding how it works behind the scenes and adjusting accordingly
Monitor the progress and status of tasks and deliverables on projects and escalate issues and risks in a timely manner
Conduct research and analyze users' digital interactions
Creat e user flows, wireframes, and prototypes by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
Incorporat e customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design to enhance user experience
The desired candidate will be analytically minded, and solution focused. They will possess excellent written/verbal communication skills, and the ability to seamlessly integrate into a new organization/team

Technical Knowledge and Experience
Required:
Master's or bachelor's degree in Design , Fine Arts, Engineering, or a related field
5-7 years of experience as a UI/UX designer
A successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology
Design, build and maintain highly reusable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
Expert knowledge of HTML5 and web frameworks and best practices
Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS
Experience creating designs, from concept through prototyping, with modern programs or technologies such as, but not limited to Axure, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, Marvel, and Principle
Experience in planning and facilitating user research activities and usability tests
Solid UX skills, with the ability to iterate through conceptual ideas and effectively communicate conceptualizations using sketches, storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, data visualizations
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
Experience in designing modern UI dashboards and reports
Familiarity or experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and working in Agile environments
A portfolio that demonstrates both UI/UX proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles
Knowledge of industry trends and technologies

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado, and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $87,852 to $154,125.
