Remote U.S. for Hybrid in Vienna, VA

\@Orchard LLC is retained by a government consulting firm specializing in data and records management with a goal of assisting customers with strategic and transformative ways in handling information management and data architecture. Our Client is seeking a Junior Report Tester who can ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of reporting tools, particularly Oracle OAS/OBIEE or Tableau.

As a Report Tester your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of reports and dashboards developed using Oracle OAS/OBIEE or Tableau.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate report functionality and data accuracy.
• Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in reports.
• Collaborate with report developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing reports.
• Validate data against source systems and ensure data integrity.
• Provide detailed test results and feedback to developers and project managers.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of testing standards and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Report Tester or in a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• U.S. Government Public Trust or the ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience, relevant coursework or certification in Oracle OAS/OBIEE or Tableau.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
